When It Rains

Shirt, shoes, shorts, ring: Forever 21, Blazer: Target, Necklace: Thrifted
I feel like I've been wearing a lot of black lately. Yesterday was leggings and over the knee socks today it's tights and my favorite lace up wedge heel boots. Maybe its the weather today was raining...on my day off. How fun. But I scored a metallic top at Forever 21 while stopping in at the mall (lame I know, even on my day off it seems I'm always in a Forever 21). Super cute it had me as soon as I laid my eyes on it.

Black and Blue...and Brown

Boots, belt and blazer: Target Dress, leggings, necklace: Forever 21

So today was a nice day outside I hear, too bad I was at work the entire day. I have been working with the visual merchandisers for a couple of weeks now so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I was feeling a like a little bookworm today but with an equestrian flair. I feel like spending an entire day at the library with my head in a book... or a Vouge.

A little bit of Rock and Roll

Super sorry for the insanely tiny pictures but I took this by myself with my cell phone. I did this DIY during the summer after searching the internet for a great do-it yourself on how to get these tights looking rocker without going overboard. If you love what you see try it yourself!

Don't bother me I'm casual

Forever 21 knit cardigan, Rodarte for Target striped long sleeve shirt, Dooney and Bourke vintage purse, Forever 21 accessories

So seriously I spent the entire day driving around and trying to stay sane with the swarm of traffic everywhere, so I felt like keeping it easy. I have been living in this cardigan from Forever 21 for days and as long as Im warm its on. Im loving the Rodarte for Target striped shirt it was probably how comfortable I felt that kept me from going nuts.

Mermaids and feathers

Diane Von Furstenberg's Pre Fall 2010 is making me wish I could hop into a time machine and go forward in time. Haha. I love the feather detailing in the collection it reminds me of my favorite headband I made this past summer. DVF knows how to pull off sophisticated bohemian oh so well. The second to last dress I want so bad, I have an insane attraction to anything that is somewhat flapper-ish. And the dress with the metallic sequins makes reminds me of an upscale mermaid. So glam. The collection, colorwise has pieces that make it feel so fresh alongside some of the more muted pieces. But, the use of textures and prints (feathers!) does it for me and does it so well.

"Go" Rodarte

Target launches their Rodarte collection for their Go International line on December 20th. These are some of my favorite looks and pieces from the lookbook. I loooove the lace cardigans especially the tan I can imagine my self wearing it almost everyday. The knee high socks, loveee too! Lately i've been drawn to ivory/cream/beige palettes. I think I just like the simplicity and naturalness of how it all looks. I can't wait to see the entire collection in just a couple days.

A Vintage Love Affair

I stumbled upon this while on the Forever 21 website. Even though I work there I'm constantly on the site on my days off, I love seeing what comes in new before its on the sales floor and yes I'm a bit addicted. I could have honestly thought I was dreaming when I saw this. A vintage inspired line from Forever 21, it is too perfect I love it! I really can't wait to see it in person when I go into work tomorrow and I'm sure I'll end up buying a couple pieces.

No thank you but, I'd rather...

I can spend my entire day looking at clothes on these websites:,, Need Supply is a great mix of high and low fashion. They feature some designer brands we love like Marc by Marc Jacobs and T by Alexander Wang. They also have some cheap chic finds under $100 that include tops and accessories. ModCloth has super awesome indie designer and vintage finds (vintage goes quick so if you love something go for it). Yes Style is a website I randomly found, I don't exactly remember how but Im super glad I did its awesome! They are an online based retailer based in Asia and they feature a ton of different brands from Asia. If you're into finding some new things to add to your closet make sure you check out these sites.

DIY: Chanel T-shirt
