Hope you all have a Happy New Year! This year has been amazing... Graduated from FIDM, Working on a vintage inspired clothing line, Lola Paige and had our first fashion show! Did some awesome styling for awesome shoots, Mark Hunter (ummm... The Cobrasnake!) is a FB fan of Chic in Wonderland! In the words of Rachel Zoe... "Dieeee!" I have to say this has been a pretty sweet year. 2011 is going to be an even radder year, I have a feeling this is gonna be a good one!

To all my lovelies around the globe... Thank you all for your support and the looove! You guys are awesomeeee! 2011 is going to be a bigger and better year for Chic in Wonderland... Let's get it started!

Haven't blogged in a couple weeks! But I am back :) These rad photos were taken a couple weeks ago by Kevan Wilkinson. I did a somewhat spontaneous shoot at the circle in Orange, and we shot all over. From fire escapes to alley ways, it was such a killer shoot. This top from H&M has become the easiest, and most versitile pieces in my closet to wear. I plan my outfits around it... How could I not?

Hey guys! Hope everyone checked out my last post where I featured one of my favorite online vintage stores, Supadupa Vintage. If you haven't make sure you do! I have been keeping busy and I just recently started working with a super awesome stylist based in Orange County. I have been assisting her on her blog, which I hope to share with you soon. Here is one of my older outfits that got lost in the chaos of my computer.

I got this floral romper at the fashion district in DT Los Angeles. If you have never been and you live in Southern California and love fashion, you HAVE to go! Even with the insane crowds as you make your way through Santee Alley, the loud blarring of cars honking as they drive past you crossing the street and the hunt for the most inexpensive yet, walking distance friendly parking, this is one of my favorite places to be in the heart of LA. Just a couple weeks ago, I visited the fashion district when I was searching for some fabrics at Ragfinders (the place has rooms upon rooms full of fabrics, love the lace section!). The fashion district is where you can find it all... Need fabric? Check. What about some trendy fashion boutiques nestled off Olympic Blvd? Check! I love going there for the adventure and the feeling of being in the middle of the greatest cities in Southern CA.

Lola Paige

Hiiii everyone!

So this month has felt like it's literally on fast forward. We (me and Thien, my business partner) finally launched our line, Lola Paige. Lola Paige is a line of vintage inspired swimsuit cover ups but can be worn as an everyday piece. Some of the styles we have in our line include rompers, an asymmetrical dress and a lace pocket tank. I missed blogging, but now I am back and I graduate from FIDM next month so I will surely be blogging more often! Thank you to all who have commented on my blog posts and everyone who has become a fan of my blog on Facebook. Everyone is so supportive and inspiring. I am trying to get back to everyone who has commented, both on Facebook and here (I have too many social networking accounts...I lose track!), but if I don't get back to you just know that you are awesomeee and I will visit your blog:)

Here are a couple of photos from the fashion show that featured Lola Paige and my recent outfit post. I got this scarf at H&M and it is my absolute FAVORITE. After I bought these olive green pants I found the most perfect pair of cargos at Forever 21. But, what I love about these is that they can work for the Military trend we are seeing. They are such a basic and versatile piece that they can translate into many seasons and trends.

This is my new favorite necklace! I got it at Forever 21 a.k.a. work. I kinda have become obsessed with chain necklaces and this is by far my fave. I have worn this outfit many ways in the past couple of weeks. I'll change up the top, belt and tights, but I think this styling of the outfit has a more sophisticated look with a fun and edgy twist...purple tights and cowboy inspired booties.

When I first bought this skirt I was kinda hesitant in wearing it...being skin tight and all. Especially wearing it without tights because we all know I have tights in all prints, colors and textures, so I felt like I was betraying my favorite pair of tights when I put on these knee high socks. They have become my favorite though! Goodbye tights, Hello knee highs, at least for summer!

So this lovely shirt almost got returned the other day hehe. My mom though thought that I should keep it because I dont really have anything else like it in my mess of a closet. It is way cute with a zipper detail on the back (sorry I didnt feature it here) and puff shoulders so amazing! I definitely got my sense of style from my mom! Thanx mom:)
